Managing Merchants
The Merchant page lists the merchant organizations appointed or assigned to the reseller. Here, merchant means the taxpayer or business using AECloud, not the buyer recorded on an invoice.
Find a merchant
Use the available controls to filter by:
- Business type
- City
- Status
- Search text
Use Order By to change the result order. Select Reset to clear the filters. Open a result to view the merchant account.
Add a merchant
- Open Merchant.
- Select Add Merchant.
- Enter the merchant details marked as required, including its company name, business type, status, support contact, merchant code, TIN, BRN, address, contact information, MSIC category, licensed outlet quantity, and submission preferences.
- Select TIN Validation if you need to validate the entered tax information before creating the account.
- Select TIN Validation & Create to validate the TIN and create the merchant.
Review the selected reseller and all registration identifiers before creating the account.
View a merchant
The merchant information screen groups the account into sections that may include:
- Merchant and contact information
- Address information
- LHDN registration and submission information
- User accounts
- API client information
- Subscription and renewal information
- Outlets
- Notes and change log
Edit merchant information
- Open the merchant account.
- Select Edit Merchant.
- Update the required company, contact, address, support, or status information.
- Select Apply Changes.
Add a merchant user
- Open the merchant account.
- Select Add User.
- Enter the user's login name.
- Select Send Invitation.
The invited user must complete email verification before signing in.
Edit or unregister a merchant user
- Select the user from the merchant's user list.
- Update the user's details or active status.
- Select Apply Changes.
Select Unregister User only when access should be removed.
Protect merchant information
Merchant accounts can contain personal information, addresses, tax identifiers, business-registration details, and credentials. Do not copy this information into documentation or share it with unauthorized parties.
