Submitting an e-Invoice Request
Final check
Before selecting Submit, confirm that:
- the displayed receipt is the intended purchase;
- the buyer classification is correct;
- the customer name is correctly spelled;
- the TIN and identification information match;
- the email address and telephone number are correct; and
- the complete address uses the correct state and country.
Submit the request
- On Customer Details, select Submit once.
- Keep the browser open while the request is processing.
- If the buyer uses an own TIN, wait for identity validation to complete.
- Wait for the submission result.
During this operation, the console records the customer details against the selected receipt, prepares the individual e-Invoice, sends it for LHDN processing, and retrieves the available processing result.
Do not repeatedly select Submit, refresh the browser, or use the browser's Back button while processing is underway.
Successful submission
When the operation is accepted, the Invoice Successfully Submitted page appears. It confirms that the invoice was submitted and identifies the email address that will receive the result. Keep the original QR code because it is the route back to the receipt's status.
Select Finish & Exit to end the temporary session.
Successful submission does not mean that every later validation stage has necessarily finished. Use View Status after rescanning the QR code to check the recorded outcome.
Submission error
If validation or submission fails, the console remains on the data-entry step and displays an error. Read the message before changing anything.
- For a TIN or identification validation error, recheck the TIN, identification type, and identification number.
- For a receipt-data or LHDN validation error, contact the merchant.
- For a temporary processing problem, avoid creating repeated attempts; wait briefly, rescan the QR code, and check whether status is available.
See Troubleshooting if the problem continues.
