Setting
Self-service settings provide the merchant-specific values used when preparing documents manually.
The settings page contains merchant-specific selections used by product and document forms:
- Classification: Product or service classifications used on document lines.
- Currency: Currencies available during document preparation.
- Additional Charges: A description and percentage formula for a merchant-defined charge.
- Tax Type: A tax code and its tax rate.
- UOM Type: Units of measurement used for products and services.
- Category: Merchant-defined product or transaction categories.
- Sale Type: Merchant-defined sales classifications.
Use the corresponding Add action to create a value. Select an existing value to review, edit, or remove it where the screen permits.
Configure master settings before creating products or transaction documents. Changes can affect which values are available on later forms.
Add a setting value
- Open Self-Service → Setting.
- Find the required setting group.
- Select Add Classification, Add Currency, Add Charges, Add TAX Type, Add UOM, Add Category, or Add Sale Type.
- Enter the code. Enter the description, tax rate, or charge formula when the selected form provides it.
- Select Create.
Use codes that match the merchant's approved data mapping. A merchant-defined code does not replace a mandatory LHDN reference code where the e-Invoice specification requires one.
Edit or delete a setting value
- Select the existing value from its setting list.
- Update the supported fields.
- Select Apply Changes.
Use Delete only when the value is no longer needed. Before deletion, check whether products, templates, integrations, or draft documents still depend on it.
