Getting Started
What you need
Before starting, have the following ready:
- the original receipt and its QR code;
- the buyer's correct name;
- the buyer's Tax Identification Number (TIN), when using an own TIN;
- the matching identification type and identification number;
- a working telephone number and email address;
- the buyer's address, city, state, and country; and
- the buyer's SST registration number, if applicable.
The email address is important because submission and validation updates are sent to it.
No customer account is required
The normal customer journey does not ask you to create an account or enter a username and password. The receipt QR code opens the receipt-specific request page and, when you choose an action, starts a temporary session for that receipt.
Do not share the receipt link or QR code unnecessarily. Anyone who can open it may be able to see receipt information and the actions currently available for that receipt.
Use a supported browser
Use a current browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Allow the page to finish loading before selecting an action. For PDF download, the browser must permit the file-generation operation and save the resulting file.
Before submitting
Check the receipt first. Customer details can be supplied through the console, but receipt content such as merchant, outlet, products, quantities, prices, and totals comes from the merchant's sales record. If those details are incorrect, stop and contact the merchant.
Select Submit only when the buyer details are complete and correct. Submission is an actual request for processing, not a draft-save action.
Leaving the console
Use Cancel, Exit, or Finish & Exit, as applicable, when finished. These actions end the temporary session. Keep the original receipt or QR code so that you can return later.
