Supplier
Use Self-Service → Supplier to maintain parties used on self-billed documents.
Add a supplier
- Select ADD Supplier.
- Enter the supplier name, code, contact information, TIN, identification type, and identification number.
- Enter the email address, MSIC information, SST registration number, and tourism tax number where applicable.
- Complete the address, city, state, postcode, and country.
- Use Search Tin where appropriate to verify available taxpayer information.
- Select Create.
Maintain a supplier
Search for and open the supplier. Update the information and select Apply Changes. Use Delete only when authorized.
Supplier information is used for self-billed sale invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and refund notes. Verify it carefully before creating those documents.
Understand supplier information
- The supplier code identifies the reusable record within the merchant account.
- TIN, identification type, and identification number identify the supplier for e-Invoice purposes.
- MSIC information describes the supplier's business classification where applicable.
- SST and tourism tax numbers should be entered only when applicable to that supplier.
- Country and state values must use selections supported by the form.
Search Tin assists with available taxpayer information; it does not remove the user's responsibility to confirm that the returned party is the intended supplier.
Before deleting a supplier, check whether it is referenced by a draft or a business record that must be retained.
