Opening a Receipt

Scan the QR code

  1. Open the camera or QR-scanning function on your device.
  2. Scan the QR code associated with the merchant receipt.
  3. Open the detected link in your browser.
  4. Wait for the Request E-Invoice page to load.

The page searches for the receipt linked to that QR code. When it finds the receipt, it displays identifying information such as the merchant or company, outlet, terminal, receipt number, sale date, and total amount.

Confirm that it is the correct receipt

Before choosing an action, compare the displayed information with the receipt in your possession:

  • merchant or company name;
  • outlet name;
  • terminal, if shown;
  • sale or receipt code;
  • sale date; and
  • total amount.

Do not continue if the displayed record belongs to a different purchase or if important amounts do not match. Scan the correct QR code again. If the mismatch remains, contact the merchant.

Actions that may be shown

The available action depends on the receipt's date, configuration, and processing status.

Action Purpose
LET'S GO Starts a new e-Invoice request for an eligible receipt.
View Status Opens the processing information for a receipt that has already been submitted.
Download E-Invoice Opens the e-Invoice output page and provides a PDF download action. Availability depends on the receipt's processing state.

If the page says that the receipt is not valid for submission, read the displayed notice and see Receipt eligibility.

If the QR code cannot be read

  • Clean the camera lens and scan in good lighting.
  • Keep the complete QR code inside the scanning frame.
  • Avoid glare, shadows, folds, or damage on the receipt.
  • Try the device's camera application rather than an unfamiliar QR-scanning application.
  • Ask the merchant for help if the QR code is missing, damaged, or continues to open the wrong record.
